Spring Clean-Up Day

During Spring Clean-Up Day, volunteers help residents prepare for the city’s annual clean-up week by taking refuse to the curb, cleaning out flower beds and planting fresh foliage.  General yard work is also performed.  Volunteer for Spring Clean-up and help to keep Urbandale beautiful!

Fall Clean-Up Day

During Fall Clean-Up Day, volunteers help residents with general yard work that includes raking leaves, trimming shrubs and garden clean up.  Volunteer to help those who are unable to manage these annual chores!

Holiday Adopt-a-Family Program

The Holiday Adopt-a-Family Program matches Urbandale families in need with sponsors who provide seasonal food and holiday gifts.  Volunteer to assist families with their Thanksgiving meals and/or share your good fortune with those less fortunate by providing holiday gifts.  Add joy to your holiday season by adopting a family.  Few things in life provide greater joy than the gift of giving, especially during the holiday season!

A Wine Event 

In 2008, the Urbandale Caring Corps introduced a new fundraising event that was HUGELY successful - A Wine Event!  This will be an annual event to raise funds for our organization while allowing you to meet old and new neighbors, enjoy a great glass of wine and delicious appetizers.  We also have live music and a silent auction with terrific prizes.  Come join us!
