Need Help? Our volunteers provide FREE services to Urbandale residents with a need. Learn more about our services and find out how we can help you!

 Become a Volunteer!  Our volunteers are the reason we can provide the services we do.  These dedicated people run errands, shop for groceries, handle yard work, perform simple maintenance tasks and provide companionship. Become a volunteer - choose the services you are comfortable providing and a schedule that works for you!

Give Today!  Urbandale Caring Corps will gratefully accept cash donations, bequests, in-kind contributions, office supplies, support for our events and personal or corporate sponsorships. Help us to provide the services that make a difference in the lives of so many.  Donate Now!

Don't forget to check out our resources page !  This page has information about various organizations and companies that provide services specifically for seniors.  Some are free, some are not.  There are senior living facilities, a moving company focusing on the special needs of seniors, providers of everything from "scooters" to shoes!  If there's someone you think should be listed, let me know.  You'll have to make your own decision as to whether or not a particular service is right for you, but at least we can help you get started!

 
2009 Wine Tasting

The Urbandale Caring Corps celebrated its 10-year anniversary with a Wine Fest fundraiser on April 8, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn, 8600 Northpark Drive.

Many thanks to our generous sponsors and to all who donated auction items and attended this event.  Participants enjoyed great food, wine and conversation. More than that, the proceeds from this event will allow the Urbandale Caring Corps to continue with its mission of Neighbors Helping Neighbors!
